Nightlife, Andalusia, Spain
Your note
If you're coming to Andalusia in southern Spain you must definately go out and enjoy the fun nightlife and it's bars, pubs and discos! It is something completely different to experience, especially if you're coming from destinations from northern Europe.
Going out in Andalucía is a lot different to anywhere else in northern Europe. It’s so much more chilled out. Door policies tend to be more relaxed, you can pretty much wear what you like (within reason!). People go out later and stay out a lot longer.
Seville and Granada are both well known for having excellent nightlife, all year round. This is partly due to their large student populations.
On the Costa de Sol it’s more seasonal. Marbella (Puerto Banus in particular), Fuengirola, Torremolinos are jam packed with tourists during the summer, but can be fairly quite during the winter.
It depends on what you want; you can go to Marbella and pay 50 euros into one of the “super rich” hang outs, or chill out in a chiringuito on one of Tarifa’s vast sandy beaches, check out a student band in a Granada bar, or see a live Flamenco show in Seville …the choice is yours!
